We design innovative bicycle frames from the ground up, focusing on adaptability, durability, and performance. Our team specializes in aluminum, composite, and hybrid constructions with advanced joining, welding, and mechanical interface techniques.

Sensor Integration & Smart Electronics

CY:ONS develops embedded systems that turn mechanical platforms into intelligent mobility tools. From torque sensors and stretch-state detection to GPS and real-time diagnostics, we design systems that collect, interpret, and communicate meaningful data.

Prototype-to-Production Transition

We bridge the gap between concept and reality. With a hands-on approach to prototyping and supplier coordination, we support the full lifecycle: CAD modeling, tolerance definition, DFM reviews, BOM assembly, and early pilot production.

Function meets form in every product we build. Our industrial design process focuses on usability, modularity, and durability across use cases—from child-carrying to delivery riding.

Connected Interface & IoT Development

We build the digital layer on top of our vehicles. Our IoT systems include mobile app integration, BLE/GPS communication, stretch-mode recognition, theft prevention, ride analytics, and eco-efficiency tracking.

Featured Projects

01

4-in-1 E-Bike Platform

A transformative e-bike with a stretchable frame that adapts to four modes: Compact, Front Cargo, Longtail, and Full Cargo. This platform is the core embodiment of our mission—offering real flexibility in one vehicle without the need to own multiple bikes.

Compact Sliding Bike

Our earliest physical prototype for stretchable mobility. This minimal two-wheel bike features a rear-slide mechanism and serves as a testbed for stress distribution, chain tensioning systems, and user-operated lock designs.

Pod Bike Concept

A fully enclosed, weather-protected micro vehicle designed for last-mile travel, family transport, and urban comfort. The Pod features a semi-rigid shell, dual seating options, and front/rear visibility systems.

Modular Cargo System

An ongoing design study into accessory kits that scale with the bike’s geometry. This includes a fold-flat front cargo box, hidden child seat module, footrest kits, and side-mount panels. The challenge: create sturdy,  add-ons that can disappear when not in use and reappear in seconds—without tools.

CY:ONS Connect App

Our proprietary software ecosystem integrates BLE, GPS, stretch mode detection, and usage analytics into a rider-friendly app. It allows real-time system diagnostics, anti-theft features, eco-feedback, and even rider-based configuration.

StretchFrame Initiative

An internal R&D project focused on testing new materials, sliding profiles, and locking mechanisms for future stretchable vehicles. This initiative fuels not just our current product line, but also white-label systems and licensing opportunities with other brands.
