CY:ONS was born from a simple, stubborn question: why does the e-bike industry keep solving the same problem the same way?

As cities grew more complex and the need for smarter, cleaner transport became impossible to ignore, we saw an opportunity that others were missing. Not to build another e-bike, but to rethink the technology that powers them. To challenge assumptions that the industry had accepted as permanent. To ask what becomes possible when you approach mobility from first principles rather than convention.

What started as a series of sketches in a workshop in Limburg has grown into a cross-disciplinary team of engineers and designers pushing the boundaries of what electric mobility can be. We work at the intersection of physics, industrial design, and software — developing technology that is genuinely new, not incrementally better.

We do not believe in disposable design. Every product we create is built to last, to adapt, and to serve real people in real conditions — city commuters, families, delivery riders, long-distance cyclists. We design from their needs, prototype in-house, and refuse to compromise on what matters.
